Wake Up to Climate Change - a New Resource

Wake Up to Climate Change (WUTCC) is a new, free resource co-designed with youth workers.  It provides you with a comprehensive set of interactive, varied and engaging activities to use with your groups as they learn about climate change and sustainability.

Climate change affects community life in a wide variety of ways and is closely connected to themes of social justice and opportunity – all relevant to the lives of our young people.

If you would like access to a short, easy to use, taster version of this resource it is available to you by clicking on the image below and completing the form.

We can offer bespoke support, training or workshops delivered directly to your organisation or network.  We can also offer co-delivery of sustainability sessions directly to your youth group. If this is of interest contact,

David Gardiner at david.gardiner@keepnorthernirelandbeautiful.org or on 07753 834247

We are interested in delivering workshops designed specifically for Youth Leaders who want to make a difference.

What role can Youth Leaders play?

As climate change continues to emerge as a particularly urgent crisis for youth, who are set to inherit and face its most severe consequences while often feeling they lack the power and influence needed to effect change, youth work needs to play its part. So, whether you work in youth clubs, community groups, or faith-based organisations, this training may be the springboard you, and the young people you work with, need.

You won’t just leave informed, you’ll leave inspired and empowered!
