Tackling Plastic

Tackling Plastic

What's the problem?

Plastic isn’t all bad. It’s actually a great material that helps us navigate our busy lives. Thanks to plastic, we have computers, state of the art machines to detect health issues and we’ve even been able to travel to the moon and back.

It’s our misuse of plastic that’s the problem. We pointlessly use plastic everyday. Most of it is thrown away within minutes of use. Most plastic ends up in landfill or the environment and can take up to a thousand years to break down.

Our misuse of plastic is crippling our environment, killing wildlife and damaging our health.

It's up to every business, every organisation, every school, every individual to tackle and find ways to reduce our use of pointless plastic. The 5RS below are a great way to start!
