General information

Lifeguards on duty at weekends from Easter and daily in July and August 10am 6pm.

Tyrella beach and conservation area is a small enclosed beach and dune complex within Dundrum Bay comprising of a wide flat sandy beach, 2km long and backed by 25Ha of mature dunes (conservation area).

The beach offers a car free zone , off beach parking, lifeguard service (July/August), amenities, tourist information.

It It is also a stop over point on the coastal path walking network and the Mourne coastal route (driving).
